EB Stealth, Did I Lose an Account?!

Argh Please HELP . .
So my good EB Stealth that I created in 2007, with over 500+ feedback, is in some trouble. . I logged in Dial-Up because my old PC got fried, and EB hit me with the "Identify Yourself" Screen. I couldn't remember my Secret Answer. Then I had to call in EB and couldn't remember the Answers to the Questions they asked (old email accounts, birthday, etc.) . . .

***My question is If I mail in the info they're now requesting (photo ID, Receipts of Purchases, etc.) then will it get reinstated?! Any advice would be seriously apprec1ated...THANKS SO MUCH.

If done correctly you have a decent shot at it.

Dont give up hope, many have been able to get past this.

Yea, I would fight it. I recommend that everyone who runs stealth should have a notebook with all the info and also an electronic copy saved. It can become quite difficult keeping track of everything once you start running more than a few accounts.

If you can explain what happened to your other computer, and the account is otherwise in good standing, there is every hope they will sort this.

Take this time to make that excel file with ALL the details too for the future
as well....
Good Luck

Guys, I am worried...... I submitted the docs to e.Bay (customer support) and they have NOT replied back........usually how many days does it take for them to give a reply? more than 3-5 days ???
I got 'creative' on the docs of course so I am starting to worry.

JamesNorth101 05-16-2013 02:09 PM

They can take a good few days to reply, in the UK its usually approx 3 days.

if you dont know the security questions and it is a not real account. I say your chances are 90-10 in favor of dead. Start making a new one well you wait and try to keep track of everything

Just hold fire and see what happends

ifox007 05-16-2013 08:19 PM

too late...... I read this too late. but if you still have the info file on the old hdd, The easier way to get it back is you have to remove the old hard drive and install it on a new machine or you can use the soft to extract the password from the old hdd.

documents are already submitted.

OP is worrying about the length of time for a reply

Can take even 7-14 days - you might have to e-mail them or (ugh) call to remind gently.

WinterIsComing 05-17-2013 06:40 AM

Yes, don't bother them too much though. Remember that it's some guy's job to listen to people complain all day long and he doesn't care. If anything there's probably only an incentive for him to ban you and get rid of you. Be nice and work with him, and hopefully you'll get your account back. You should prepare for the worst though.
