Need some advice - eBay fees & limits
 

Hey guys, this is my first post on this account.

I have another account that I bought eBay stealth on awhile back but I forgot all my information to it.

So lately I've found a method of just getting a good amount of brand new electronics ( completely legal ), and I've been selling them and making a ton of money.

My feedback is 99% around 100 now.

Fee's are pretty high, and I think my only option to get the cheaper would be top rater seller?

but the biggest problem is my selling limits. It's at $7500 and I reached that within 12 days this month.

I really would like them raised, but my only option was calling ebay.

I don't think I can answer some things they'll ask me though, how I obtain them, or receipts.

Any advice?

sign into your account and check your seller information ,you should get most of your info from there.
but i would not rock the boat with the account being stealth.

First of all you said you were making a ton of money.

You will only save 2-3% anyway and if you are making a ton of money do not rock the boat and call them.

High number of people who call lose that account.

Second, is this an older aged account?

Third. If you hit that amount already this month you need to slow down as you will soon get hit with the IRS request for your SSN.

Projected sales will cause this very soon.

Leave this account alone. Sell 1-2 items on it and get some other accounts moving.

Unless you want to get hit with the SSN and after a month or so the account will get limited.

Do not call ebay. You dont have any backups to cover yourself?

This account actually isn't stealth. I moved so I was able to restart.

This account was made 2008.

Can I open multiple back ups to one paypal?

You can add another seller account in your household under your name but again you will be hitting the 200-20k threshold quickly and get asked for the SSN soon.

It will be based on the projected sales, not hitting both of those numbers actually. If they even think you will hit those numbers you will get it.

Did you ever give them your SSN at the old address or on this account?

@Bunting, You really should read the Ebay Stealth Ebook. I don't think you have much of an idea of what Stealth is.

Yeah, paypal has my SSN.

then you have problems.

Start reading NOW and do not make any new account until you grasp what to do.

Get organised quickly.

Otherwise you could ruin your accounts.

1. Time to get other stealth accounts pronto.

2. Back ups to one paypal is NOT a backup....if the main account goes down, the others are likely to get canned because of linkage.

3. Sad to hear that PP has your SSN...your hands are a bit tied on this account then - preserve it well since it is 5 years old but pp can be rough...dont call and push your way through.
