is ebay lying
 

im tired of hiding so i called ebay and asked what i have to do to get my selling limits lifted. they said i have to pay outstanding fees to my other account, so that account can be reinstated, and my selling limits lifted off the other one.


i hung up

after that i got an email saying my account (the one with the selling limits) had been restricted from selling indefinitely
i didnt get that until i called.

so i called back and asked again, if i pay for my suspended account, will both that account be reinstated, and will the permanent selling limits be lifted

they said yes.

do you think they are lying. can i really get my accounts back if i pay?

i still have to go stealth?

It's kinda like owing money to the Electric Company...You don't pay you don't get electricity!

So here are your mistakes:
1. You Didn't pay your fees
2. You called EBay and then you got hit with a double wammy!

Ebay lies a lot.

Promise to reinstate accounts all the time only to can the account shortly after they get paid.

Next time you think like this, PLEASE discuss the topic here.

Yes, I understand the stresses of being stealth. But I also know, and know most bitterly, how ebay will deal with a request like yours.

They will make a false promise.

I had outstanding fees with a suspended account. I spoke to them about this. I was assured that I could pay up and get the account back.

Happily I did that. The account was restored. It was restored for TWO billing cycles. And then ebay killed it for ever. They offered a bull dust reason.
They killed the account.

They will not reinstate your account even if you pay the amount outstanding. Learned this when I paid off my brothers account that was linked to mine, £300 I will never see again and I got no accounts to show for it.

I am quite sure it is a bunch of lies - they dont like you, they know you are back on their website, you owe them money...put 2 and 2 together...easy to try to get your money with few lies then sorry, we still dont want your business - BYE!

Now that being said, I am a firm believer that if you owe PROPER fees to eB, these should be paid but that's my opinion - you made money? pay your fees.
