| Zero123 | 05-17-2013 02:11 PM | MC999 on 2 new accounts I have created 2 new accounts in the last week, on one I got an MC999 after 3 days without selling an item which had been posted... On this account I was selling an item that I had sold on my legit MC000 account that is still in limbo...
The other the MC999 came right away when I was selling a legit item that was previously listed on another stealth account where I got ban (not because of that same item).
I am not sure if that makes sense:doh:
But, what do you all think? |
Sandy D | 05-17-2013 03:09 PM | So you listed the same item knowing it probably was the reason you got banned?
Why do that?
Was the item risky or something? |
arpichelago | 05-17-2013 03:23 PM | MC999? Copyrighted/unauthorized item? I mean it could be totally unrelated to your accounts.
They could be cracking down on their policies lately, which is why you've successfully sold it before. Or maybe if you used the exact same title, the first guy who gave you the MC999 flagged that title or something.
And if it's actually legit, IDK what to tell you. People seem to have had that problem with magic cards, where ebay was totally wrong. WARNING EBAY LINK BELOW http://forums.ebay.com/db2/topic/Tra...bay/5100092619 |

Was the item risky or something? | No, it was not the same item, it was an item i had been listing on the other account but not the item I got ban for. I sold it completely fine on my other account.
Should I call them and ask.
They just said MC999 *useless stuff* please call us within 48 hours to verify... |
Sandy D | 05-17-2013 03:57 PM | You got linked or something.
One the account for MC999 might as well call because if you do not it will be gone anyway.
I am not one for calling them but you have no choice.
Be prepared for questions, probably will ask for invoices etc also. |
Could be from selling a risky item, selling too quickly, maybe even being remotely linked.
What is the method by which you set up and operate your accounts? |

What is the method by which you set up and operate your accounts? | dongle, new address, no bank, vanilla visa
Maybe I will have to do something other than a dongle or take it slower. |
