Am I Restricted?
 

I have an account that I have had since late 2011, and I have had absolutely zero VERO compliance issues. However, about 6 months ago I sold two ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items but, even though both of these sales received positive feedback without problems, when I listed the third it was taken down by eBay.

I remember the message eBay sent was NOT a Vero violation, but it just said something about my account not having enough history to sell those items, and that I would not be allowed to list in that particular category again.

This is where I need your help!

I feel pretty certain this is the account where I got this message, but when I tried to confirm by looking back in my ebay messages and my gmail account, I can't find anything regarding any of my listings being removed or any other problems for that matter. Nor can I find anything on ebay seller account. So now I am wondering if I am safe to sell that same item again? What do you guys think?

When you look under the Seller Dashboard. It shows the policy compliance and number of violations. I would think with one removed item you should be ok. But I would suggest not listing in that category for 90 days if you have a violation so it goes away.

Ok I think I should be good. I actually posted a non ⊗⊗⊗⊗ item in the same category to see if I triggered anything. Nothing yet and its been 12 hrs

When you have a moment of doubt like this, always check your seller dashboard.

Most of the time there will be notices there to help you ascertain the status of your account.

Try that and post back here.

I did try that and saw nothing. I will let you know what I find out here soon. I already went ahead and relisted that item. I am fairly confident it will work out

That's a big plus.

ebay gets glitches sometimes that go our way.

If you only got the auction taken down due to listing limits for that category and that month, you should be fine in general - best of luck.
