iOffer.com - buy and then dispute as counterfeit?

I am curious to know, because iOffer is full of counterfeit goods and you can use paypal. Can you buy a heap load knowing they are counterfeit and actualy file a claim once received saying they are counterfiet and get your money back??

I know it sounds harsh but serve themselves right for selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗?

lol eat me if you want, give me your views and comments

badebay 07-17-2008 12:33 PM

greg. id you eat a chilli for breakfast or something, thats just not nice !!!

greg2414 07-17-2008 12:35 PM

what if i didn't know they were ⊗⊗⊗⊗. I know you can say well more fool you for being roped into such a low price BUT they are clearly not allowed to sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗. Correct? Therefore im entitled to my money back?

Not saying i'm going to do it lol. Im just curious to how sellers are really doing on ioffer if selling ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

badebay 07-17-2008 12:39 PM

to be honest . we have a few here that list tons of ⊗⊗⊗⊗. but they dont sell hardly any.. the sites are littered with em. people just dont trust em and prefer ebay. and ebay have kicked most into touch. so where do they go from here. i have no idea as i personaly i dont sell ⊗⊗⊗⊗. just feather dusters and bed sheets

jerkyboy1 07-17-2008 03:46 PM

99% of the people know they are buying ⊗⊗⊗⊗ so it doesn't concern them. What the buyers are concerned with is, are the counterfeits of high enough quality to be resold on eBay and passed as legitimate, that is the real test. Plus, your an idiot if you think you're going to buy 10 office 2003 pro for $300.

greg2414 07-17-2008 03:53 PM

jerky, not everybody knows they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗ atall. BUT thats not the point. IM saying paypal would issue a refund whether or not i knew or not. They are ⊗⊗⊗⊗. So if i wanted to buy 10 phones to flog to my mates i know they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗. I file a claim on paypal saying the phones are absolute ⊗⊗⊗⊗, paypal would go in my favour. Tough luck to the seller.

True or not??

Like i said, im not that harsh to do that coz i once have sold ⊗⊗⊗⊗ so :)

jerkyboy1 07-17-2008 06:37 PM

hi greg. you will probably win the dispute with the item not as described because they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗, paypal seems to be real generous towards buyers in winning disputes when it comes to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ and especially if you provide them proof.

Also, my estimate was off yes. There are people who stumble on ioffer and don't know what they are buying or getting themselves into and are naive or turn there head the other way because of the great prices.

GreenBean 07-17-2008 07:07 PM

Bad Karma. Why tangle with the devil? Contemplating that is as bad
as the sellers offering ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

greg2414 07-18-2008 12:26 PM

haha, i said it was a curiosity, does it happen etc ;) Was thinking of the sellers actualy :(

badebay 07-18-2008 12:29 PM

oak trees grow from acorns greg " oak trees "

greg2414 07-18-2008 06:40 PM

bade, dont take the michael, i was actually concerned for the sellers.

The Item Not-As-Described Paypal dispute/claim ONLY works for items sold on eBay.
The Item-Not Received dispute/claim works everywhere.

Is that even true or did you make this up?

yahhtrick 07-25-2008 01:24 PM

Yup, Not as described only works for ebay transactions. They will just ask you to input tracking on the dispute and once the item shows delivered it will automatically close.

greg2414 07-25-2008 04:04 PM

yahtrick your wrong, as im ina dispute now with a buyer from ioffer, how do i get over this then, he has put not as described!

highwhey 07-25-2008 05:59 PM

Basically you want to ripp off the seller.

yahhtrick 07-27-2008 02:23 AM

Exactly. The buyer can file a dispute but it is then up to the buyer and the seller to work things out. If the claim gets escalated then it is automatically closed pending a tracking #

And what would you do with the "heap load" that you bought? Surely sell them again yourself, right? Wouldn't that be the same thing that they did and you thought it "serves them right"?

moh96 07-28-2008 01:44 AM

u have every right to dispute them as ⊗⊗⊗⊗, but you have no right to keep the goods and the money even if they are ⊗⊗⊗⊗
thats called stealing
