Raising your selling limit using requested documents
 

Ok so last week my ebay account was placed on hold until i could verify my identity and where i got some of my products from using invoices, passport and bank statement.

This was a legit account using all of my own details. However as i am 17 i did have to make some alterations to the documents :laugh:

Also the first set of invoices i sent them were not good enough and "didn't verify where i had got the items from".

Now the reason i am writing this post is to try and help some people if they do want to try and increase their selling allowance. I understand it will be a bit tricky using a stealth account but i was able to make some amazon invoices and ebay were none the wiser. They raised my limit no questions asked after i sent them the amazon invoices which i had constructed.

Ebay customer support representatives have proven to me in the past that they are not the brightest of people and tend to skim over details.

Good contribution - nice that you had success with document alterations. That being said, were you selling too quickly from account creation to get the temporary suspension?

The account is from September 2012 and i had been consistently hitting my selling limit each month since around january
