Another odd increase on young account
 

Account just hit 60 days old a few days back.

100%
5.0 DSRs

10-1000 account to start with. I sell right up to limit each month.

Today I did not get the normal MC999 notice that your limits have increased.

I got another type of message telling me that have earned the right to have my limits increased to 100-5000.

Toss a dart ebay luvs me.......

I got one of my 60 day accounts up to 20/2000 :(

One of the accounts I had before got raised to 350 -10,000 limit but restricted for the category I need so useless :( , strange I didn't ask for limit increase plus the account was restricted for specific category 1 month ago. Is it a kind of stupidity from Ebay or what? They know I don't need it that way. Contacted them several times and begged them to get it lift but it was NOOOO.

That's what I got couple weeks ago it was an email saying that I was doing a great job and congratulated me on the increase, the account had perfect 5.0 and 100% feedback . And than exactly 6 days later I received another email saying I'm a threat to the ebay community and can still buy but no longer can sell, hahaha got to love ebay. So happy for stealth cause I have 30 other accounts and growing so I can just laugh over this outrageous actions by ebay, luckily my Paypal was not affected yet and was able to withdrawal my last $1000 today

Good for you having so many stealth accounts as it's impossible to work it out with EB, I still don't have any stealth yet and nothing to work since more than a month :(((

Yea you can't work out the problem with ebay cause they don't even know what the problem is , I swear I think this action and a lot of their crazy actions are just glitches in there security programs, that's why stealth is the only way

Going back when I joined, we used to say the left hand of ebay never knows what the right hand of ebay is doing.

I found 'stealth' helps work ebay much better.

Now that I have stealth and multiple accounts I can laugh at this craziness of ebay but if I didnt know stealth and this was my only account it would be absolutely devastating a perfect account with perfect DSRs and received an email congratulating me and days later received another condemning me. Ebay has a split personality it's ridiculous on how they operate

GB you hit it on the nail the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing this is the perfect example

And now that I know better I'm not even going to bother to call in and tell them the situation because I would just be wasting my time to hear nothing intelligent

Or maybe I should call in and record the call for a laugh and tell them about the 2 opposite emails I received days apart and two contradicting actions one raising limits congradulations the other suspending limits I'm a threat

I save those emails.

Re-read sometimes to maintain some sanity.

Couple of years back when T&S were more accessible for the USA I used to call them for a game of confusion.com

Their excuses were woeful.

Yep I'm creating 3 accounts today, although it is always bad to lose accounts I have so many now that it didnt cause any delay in sales , I have accounts where I just sell a couple items a month just to keep them active, and once they mature I start pushing to the limits, so I'm not in short supply of listings, and I made good money from that account and luckily was able to get all the funds out of the Paypal account. The transfer actually arrived in my bank at 12:30am overnight and I got out of bed and ran to the ATM just in case Paypal decided to debit my bank so I'm happy that all that is taken care of

I hit the ATM also if I had a large sum of money coming into any bank account from paypal. I dont care what time it is I wont let them steal any of my money.

EB has really 2 personalities now another account selling privileges suspended only buy option increased to 100-5000!! And the funny thing they upgraded it to power seller!!? Again useless.. do they enjoyyyy hurting us?

ebay slammed me the same way called verified ect...; got a increase to 100/5000 then 11 hours later blocked as I'm a threat yada yada, go figure. Still have two others unmolested and buying more shortly.

A question everybody asks me why do you keep fighting your way back in if they keep treating you like dog crap? Simple "I'm an old soldier not a rug, and no one walks all over me dammit!"

Yes I know of the situatino where eB gives you a little and makes you thing account is good - then slaps you hard in less than 24 hours - ridiculous

With luck, and with good use of the stealth methods, you may be able to reduce these games played by ebay.

Takes a bit of practise.

But the whole forum is testimony to how stealth works.

And it is good.

Just got a raise on another account no email nothing logged in and there it was , always a great feeling, and this account I barely used it just kept it active selling couple items every month no where near limits and its under 3 months, did not see this one comming at all but ill take it

Keep the operations tight and do well with your DSRs and customer service

Received another bump in limits on another account , don't know if it had anything to do with it but I received two positive feedbacks today and after the second I logged in and the increase was there, no email nothing

Sandy mentioned that fact of no email. Same thing happened on an account I had not checked.

Still I like surprises

Only one account out of 7 received an email saying congrats, that was the first account that got a raise a month or so ago but since than all surprises, two accounts just in the last two days, still need to log in few others

Think I just may have a record here.

I've been selling on an account for just 4 days. Account has 1 feedback. Limits automatically increased from 25/750 to 130/3800.

UK ebay and paypal.

I've only had increases after 3 months. Maybe your increase is a record!!!

I do not sell in electronics much at all or cell phones items ever.

If I do sell in electronics at all it would be a vintage item such as vintage bose wave radio or something like that.

75% would be antique or collectibles.

Other a mix of sports items, household, general merchandise etc.
