Many times, the people trying to get you are newer sellers themselves, who think they have hit upon a brilliant plan to eliminate the competition and make a killing. Unfortunately for them, they are not as smart as they think they are. Seasoned sellers will fight back and know the tricks. Amazon and eBay DO NOT LIKE this type of behavior, so when it is pointed out, the "brilliant" trickster loses THEIR selling account.
When you engage in this type of activity, you are playing with fire. Trust me, whatever it is someone may be planning has most likely been done before AND more than once. We have seen many examples on the forum. And many of our seasoned members have caused these people to lose accounts.
I'm not saying that the OP is or was planning anything, I believe they were simply trying to protect themselves. I'm only pointing out that the people who use the underhanded tactics are running a real risk of losing accounts as well. Nobody has been able to zap me for a long time, but I have zapped a few of THEM.
