- - 0/$0 selling limits

0/$0 selling limits I did a search but couldn't find much on this.
Due to the recent changes with VBA's, I usually create CA accounts but I wanted to try a US one.
Signed up 2 weeks ago, bought a few things, bid a little bit etc. PP is verified with an AVS. Today I setup the seller account and plan to post something in about 2 weeks. After phone verification, and selecting CC as payment method, my limit is 0/$0.
Does anyone know why, or what might happen in the future to this account?
Thanks in advance! |

Wonder if you have some issue with just the AVS.
Getting hard to be stealth |

Thanks in advance! | But the account has no bank right? You only verify with bank. Phone verification is for location purposes. I have had this before on an unverified PP account only confirmed with CC. Once I added the bank, limits were upped to 10/1000.
The account was Canada based - I used a Canadian account however - 2 months ago. |
| Sandy D | 06-11-2013 12:32 PM | Did you use a USA ip?
Why choose cc as payment method and not paypal?
Before you turn any account into a sellers account you need to have it completely verified first. |
PP is fully verified.
The reason I used CC is because when I made CA accounts, when I selected Paypal as the payment method, my selling was $500. When I selected CC, it was $1000. So I figured I would do the same thing here.
Yes, it's a US IP. |
A little phone call and limits are 10/$3500.
Of course I haven't sold anything yet so it's not like I'm even remotely in the "clear". |
| GreenBean | 06-11-2013 07:14 PM | Go slowly.
Keep in mind, limits can, and are, changed at will by ebay.
Good Luck |

It happened to me, something strange happened to my account lately. It was my main account, my selling limits kept dropping every month but I didn't pay attention to it. It fell from 1800 items to 1444 items to 800 items, that's when I really started getting worried and gave them a call, they said my tracking numbers were not updating their status fast enough.
A shocker was when shortly after the call my limits fell to 0 - boom. I had to call eBay, paypal, kept calling them for a while and they had a list of things to submit in Paypal.
-Invoices
-Supplier Contact Details
-Resolve any problems with the eBay account ( unlock it )
They were terrible 3-weeks before my funds and I got my account back but the limits are to 200 and I am a bit hesitant about using stealth accounts yet until something seriously goes wrong. |

Keep sales proper, ship quickly, satisfy your customers and maintain high performance on the account. Make back-ups right away (accounts) |

Consider stealth accounts for later.
