To ship or not to ship (to this ebay user)
 

so a user messages me asking if he buys a large quantity of a product can he get a discount, i said sure. so i made a quick listing and messaged him with the link saying here you go, make your purchase. so then, he didnt buy it with his user name, he bought it with a friends ebay/pp. the ebay account has 1 (pos) fb, the address is confirmed, the payment is cleared and in my paypal account, and im not sure if this matters but on the pp invoice where it says "payment from" its the persons name followed with (The sender of this payment is Unregistered). should i send this item or not? thanks.

If you don't want to sell to buyers that don't have a PayPal account you should change your buyer requirement settings.

Ship it.

the guy does have a paypal account..he sent me the payment. i just hope theres nothing fishy going on..

Doesn't matter who made the purchase, If the buyer is verified then your good to go.

This means they do not have a PayPal account and are checking out as a guest. Perfectly fine IMO.

Ship with tracking and signature confirmation - typical sale protection techniques. Lot of people buy with different accounts

So long as you post with a tracking number and signature confirmation then you are fine.

Only post to the paypal confirmed address. Don't post it anywhere else even if the buyer is insistent.

You can shp to a couple different addresses

1 address on order details page from ebay
2 address in pp payment
3 any address in emails via ebay messenger in messages
