Default Please help...my account is fine but the owner is dying...literally

Please help...my account is over a year old, my motherinlaw has allowed me to sell using her social/her info...just to make sure I keep it under a certain amount as she did not want to face heavy tax issues. SO I have done this. But this is my mine account with no holds on it. Well now found out her cancer has spread , it is terminal, I take care of her all day so my biggest concern is her ...but can i consider this account gone? What will happen if I continued using a deceased persons info in the long run? Can I change names/social on it? Please do not put this is suscribed area as I'm not suscribed, thanks

Keep your gross receipts under $20,000 so it doesn't trigger a 1099. Pay the annual tax burden associated with the account. If PayPal generates a 1099 in a deceased person's name you're going to be up ****'s creek without a paddle.

It's probably best to explore the stealth account option.
Can you not open an account in your name? Have you been banned?

So sorry for your loss. I lost my wife to cancer 6 years ago. She was only 54yo.

Sorry to hear about your situation. RE your account, you should start to build up new stealths, this time do not use a real persons information. Make up the details and use an EIN when and if need be. Consult an accountant RE and tax issues.

I would just add that I do NOT recommend using someone's information after they die. Whomever prepares the death certificate MUST, by law, notify the Social Security Administration. Eventually, this information gets passed to the IRS and the credit bureaus. And you might have some explaining to do as to why a deceased person is having income reported if you go over the 1099 reporting threshold.

Yea just make stealth accounts and spread out your sales, there's no need to use someone's information or SS#. Make enough accounts based on your business's where u won't get hit with Paypal asking for a SS# which would expose ur identity and link u to ur banned accounts
