How does ebay find the links between accounts?
 

my 2 ebay account got suspended in 1 week. The second one was suspended due to links to the one suspended before. How does ebay find out the links? phone#? address? or paypal accounts? or email address? if they are all different, what else?

Every time when I list I used Firefox to clear the info. However I realized that when I login for replying messages, I forgot to restart Firefox again. Is this the cause? Thanks

All of those you stated could be possible for linking. Also your IP Address can link your accounts. If you use the same Credit Card info or bank account between both paypal accounts that could link you also. Your best bet is to buy eBay Stealth to create a new account that will not be linked.

A lot of different ways eBay and Paypal link accounts, dozens.

ive made a huge mistake and very urgently need answer.

i logged in to my old suspended account to pay off fees to stop them e-mailing me, it said try again later, so wasnt successful.

later that day i went in to e-mail account and saw invoice for old account and followed link thinking id sign in to old account and pay fees- IT TOOK ME STRAIGHT TO NEW ACCOUNT and i was signed in to it already, i quickly closed out, but the two log ins were on same IP, as i have a dynamic that changes daily.

i feel really stupid, all i had o do was wait one day and i also went on e-mail not under firefox, so obviouly remembered my log in.will they catch me and ban new account or was i not on long enough.
