How to bypass phone verification for ebay BUYING account?

I just want to create a buying account. I'm not selling anything. They keep on asking me to confirm my phone number by calling or texting me. I understand they do that for selling account but now there doing it for buying accounts too.

So get a burner phone and have them text you the verification code. You can get a $20 verizon phone with a free $10 starter balance, and then after you verify, you can use it to mess with your friends. ;)

Actually they are allowed to do that. They has been treating buying accounts in a strict way

They want to have some "protection". Have you thought of attaching PayPal?

Make the buying account appear "safe"
