When will my limits increase?

I've been an eBay seller since May 3rd, 2013.
I have 16 positive feedbacks, and my stars are all great!
I've called once before, and they increased my selling limit to 15/1000.

Obviously that was when I was new (I guess I still am new). I'm curious though, will they increase my account limit automatically (and when?) or will I have to call in again.

I have in fact been selling a 'high-risk' item. No problems though.

I'm not too interested in stealth accounts tbh, I'm just here for the short-term, but yeah, any help would be great.

I would avoid calling.

If you want a limit increase, sell to the max limit each month, get good feedback and decent DSR.

Yea your account is brand new you need some months 3-4 of great selling to the limits and not only 100% but high DSRs for limit increase. And also a little luck I believe some accounts not many are given raises just randomly.

Don't call in again, you may of already put an eye on your account which is selling high risk items. You need to think long term each account requires many long hours of hard work to grow and mature, if your just in this for short term this wont work for you

Oh thanks. Most users here like to contribute rather than take and run

With high risk items on a new account, raising limits wont be so much of a concern as loosing the account altogether.

Dmshark25 06-25-2013 06:31 AM

If they are high risk when he called in he already flagged himself and if he's selling what we think from the sound of his post than he won't make it too much longer , ebay just doesn't work if your thinking short term, so much work what's the point of just doing this for couple months

Dewani25 06-25-2013 10:31 AM

When I mean high risk, I'm selling computer programs.

I spoke to eBay earlier, when I called in the first time, the guy raised it for me and looked at it himself and asked what it did blah blah, and was fine with it. He was more concerned that I didn't e-mail it and sent it via mail.

When I mean "long-term" i'm not speaking of trying to build an account for 5 years, I'm just trying to make money and see how far it'll go.

There's no quick fix in ebay and unfortunately you called and gave your self up , now your account is being watched and ebay hates products that aren't physical and shipped . Just becareful with this account don't call in anymore and make new accounts.

Never call Ebay especially for limit increases
