Default Sending items unsigned

Hi, long time lurker, first time poster here. :D

A user on ebay has asked if I could send an item unsigned, where does the responsibility then lie. Am i responsible if it goes "lost" or is the buyer responsible?

Thanks for the help.

If its under 750 it's fine. Just track the item with insurance.

Paypal requires Signature above $250 I believe. If your not willing to lose money then I suggest you use Signature for any expensive items.

If the item is lost...it's on you. With anything, the package is your responsibility until the item arrives. Also, you should get insurance for any high amount of item.

insurance is great as long as the type of item is covered, check before you waste money insuring it. US I know is over $250 requires signature. Good Old scam trick people into taking the money and shipping without sig file dispute you lose

I've had a few buyers claim that they did not receive the item. I now used a signed for service for any utem I sell for abive £10.

Is there a specific reason why the buyer does not want it signed?

So long as you made more than £15 profit on the item, getting a signature from Royal Mail only costs around £1 extra, so is worth it in my eyes to save you potential headaches later on.

Yet again you do not read anything.

The responsibility lies with YOU as the seller.

Soon as you get a question like that from ' a user on ebay' you should start to listen to the alarm bells ringing.

AND do not use this forum as a means to running a scam.

Send me a pm with your ebay user name.
Thread will be reopened then
