eBay allowing presale, sounds like a scam?
 

So I got a stupid buyer, anyhow I looked at his items listed and saw the xbox 1.. obviously it is a good chunk of time til it goes on sale.. Remind you this guy has 0 feedback.

Well I looked at previously sold and they sell a lot of these many months before getting released? Mostly from sellers with 0 feedback.

The biggest problem is that the item does not get released for another 4 months, and this be plenty of time to pass for funds to clear??

I am sure there are measures for this, but maybe not? Anyone list these types of items personally know?

I heard of pre orders but not for waiting times of several months

I am always wary of "pre-sales" like this. I would only buy in if the seller was top rated with thousands of positive feedbacks. In most cases, there is really no need to pre-order anything anyway, unless you are expecting there to be a shortage of the item.

Yea I agree or if the item was comming out in few days and it was top rated seller. Just use CC for purchase to cover yourself

I would avoid. Zero feedback Pre-Sale. Sounds like a scam to me. I am surprised eBay hasn't already pulled the listing.

I only buy pre release items from 1000+ feedback accounts, same goes for selling pre order items. I only do it on my best accounts.

I was not looking to buy, it just made me wearing, and wondered / am warning anyone else about these. CC would be given but I feel like the person would be long gone before so..

I would honestly stay away from this seller, anyone with 0 feedback and doing pre-sale is too fishy and is a red flag.

If you have to think twice, trust yourself and avoid. There will be plenty available. I stood in line for 15 minutes for the Wii U and bought 4 of them. Sold them the same day for $200 profit each. The next day I walk into several stores and there are 50+ of them sitting there.

I surely would not buy from this seller myself.

Do not buy PRE-sales from sellers with zero feedback - think about it...he has NO reputation, no item in hand...whats to stop him from pp'ing out your money once hold (if any) is cleared and saying "See ya later?" - makes no sense to risk it.
