| | | wxyzhk | 07-13-2013 06:06 AM | Please help!!! A buyer trying to extort me... A Russian buyer ask for a refund because he still hasn't received the goods.
However, I just tracked and found that it was just delivered yesterday in the Russian post office site....
The question is, how can I prevent him to leave me a negative feedback if he
doesn't open a case?
I just afraid if I show and reply
him the item was delivered, he will leave me a negative feedback immediately.
If anyone can give a suggestion, it will be very appreciated.
Thanks so much!!! |

I would tell him that its show as being delivered to xyz, and if you wants a refund he will have to return the item. |

Solution:
Now that I'm stealth I sell only in the US fast shipping packages always delivered no headaches. I swear when u sell internationally the volchers wait and jump all over u , and alot are from Russian , never again go all DOMESTIC |

A lot easier to track items, a lot easier to deal with. |
| GoteBay | 07-13-2013 12:05 PM | Before my legit account was suspended, I shipped everywhere. One of my buyers had to buy another item because we were not able to track his international gift sent to a friend. Both were delivered; this buyer was just honest and gave me a really good feedback because of our communication and timely delivery of the backup item while he was still in USA.
I buy a lot from eBay. Everything is delivered into my mailbox. I would have claimed non-receipt. USPS does help with international shipping.
One of my friends is losing money to these Russian buyers. They claim non-receipt after a month and request a refund. Many people do not ship international because there is no seller protection. |
| Dmshark25 | 07-13-2013 01:31 PM | No need to ship international let them buy from their own country , I do even better sales have no complaints all packages arrive 2-3 days and get fast feedback, I learned this the hard way but this was my main emphasis in my stealth business plan DOMESTIC ONLY
Scammers are like vultures just waiting for a new ebay seller thinking that they can make more money selling to the whole world and than they just attack. And for me it was always from RUSSIA out bidding everyone by alot, ahhhh I was so naive |

I Love it,,I thought I was the only one who use that word to describe some of my favorite buyers,,,
But you are 100% correct, International Shipping is LOADED with Dangers/Scammers looking to steal something from "Those Rich American B^STARDS",,,,Domestic ONLY for me as well, besides we have PLENTY of our own Home Grown LOWLIVES right here right here in the good Old US of A,,,So if Im gonna get Scammed at least there is a FAIR chance that the Buyer who scams me MIGHT speak ENGLISH |
| jeffweico | 07-13-2013 11:16 PM | I also don't like international shipping. I HAVE done it with no problems to the UK, Australia, Canada and Switzerland. I had nothing but problems in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
Maybe it is because of what I sell, but I don't get too many scammers. Every once in a while someone tries to pull something, but if the amount of money is small, I just let it go. I have to bite my lip when I do it, but it pays to stay focused on the big picture, rather than on individual sales. That can be hard sometimes. But every time I have broken my own rule, I ended up paying the price.
You have to remember that eBay always tries to side with the BUYER. Why? Because if a news story shows sellers on eBay getting scammed, they will still sign up hundreds of new sellers each day, each one of them willing to take some risks to make a profit. But when news stories focus on BUYERS getting scammed, a certain number of people will stay away and just go to Amazon. That is, in my opinion, why eBay and Amazon are so critical of sellers.
