All ebay a/c has limit?
 

Hi, I am not sure if I correct.

Is all new ebay selling account or stealth ebay selling account have selling limit such 10 item / $1000?

All new selling accounts do have limits.

Yes all new eBay selling accounts have got limits.

Agree with everyone, do note that selling up to your limits does help raise them fairly quickly.

what is the selling limit will be usually?

Will differ for each country ( most of the time).

Do you ask for Canada only?

I used to sell item with my own eb a/c (no limit display, i have more than 100 items over $2000 and seem no problem then i pause the ebay store because pp limited then i use authorize.net instead and selling limit pop up (10 items or $1000 either one comes first then I will reach limit)

Considering one items with variation (2colors and 3 size) and each color/size has 1 in stock and ebay calculate it as 6 items in total. This limit put on my a/c = cant sell item at all..... crazy eb

Could have been 5/500 or 10/500 too. Happens to me.

My main account that is now eBay's property started from 10/$1000. My Stealths accounts have the same limit to start.

Don't feel bad, this is a normal trend. You are still doing very well.

I am curious, if stealth account shows limit only after first attempt to list item or it will show immediately once you link the verified paypal & updated all information (mailing address, phone etc,?) Please advice me, thanks

Once everything is linked and verified it should show the limits without having to list anything.

If it does not add a few items to your watchlist and then go back they should be there.

Many times, this is the accepted norm

Extremly low limit set for my account
 

I am a seller in HK. eBay just allow me to sell 5 items or up to USD 250 only. Any idea why they just grant me a such low sales limit? I listed one items in eBay UK only. The limit is used up within 10 days. I have already verified my Paypal account and requested eBay to increase my limit. Any idea how long it may take for review review my limit? Thank you.

I believe HK, China accounts have very low selling limits.

So I have to open another account or to buy a US account to get a higher limit?

You could open more accounts, If you buy a USA Account your going to need to make sure you work out the IP issue. You can't operate a USA account from a foreign Countries IP. Also your going to have to add a bank account (A USA bank account).

My 2007 old eb account has no limit before, then the limit put on my account during JULY 10/1000, I created new Canadian account and see no limit at all (officially..... I don't believe it) until I list the first item to test out what will be happen. I received a MC999 & MC000 said my account is restricted and suspension, if i do not contact eb within 48 hrs then my account will be closed down. I was piss off and suspect is ip or phone problem or maybe even paypal issue. Than I called eB, act like newbie and asked why. eb rep told me it is standard procedure to every new eb seller to list their item first time. Seller need to call in and verify the account is belong to real person lol. eb rep also ask about how you ship item and plan. Basically I told them I wanna sell some personal item blah blah blah. Limit raise when you sold item and have feedback. The rep said it may raise up to 100/5000....but all depends on your performance. I am surprise eb has lower limit to hk account coz I hear Malaysia stealth paypal n ebay are okay.

Yeah! The extremely low limit is very annoying. I created my account on 04 July and had reached my UD$250 limit on 17 July after selling of 4 items. I have requested eBay to raise my limit. I were not required to call the CS rep but had to verify my PP account instead. Now my PP account was verified 2 days ago but I have not received any feeedback from eBay yet.

Not much you can do - it's a tough process - hope you wont get limited or have problems with your eB account

Tiger 1688, ask all your relative and friend to help you created a payoneer account. In that case, you may have lots of us bank account to create US paypal and US ebay. It is also up to you if you want to use US bank to run CA EB or CA PP. I am not sure everyone the same but guess if you have 10 eb account... you may have 100 items / $10000 lol better than nothing, just build up....in case all of them work well (100items / 5000 each) x 10 = 10000items / $50000 ............. goodluck :heh:

Thanks for the advice Krizty. I have applied a Payoneer debit card and is waiting the card to be sent to HK. My question is if I use the Payoneer card and account to create US PP & EB. Do I need to do it by VPN as I am in Hong Kong or eBay will not ban me from creating a US EB remotely. Please advise. Thanks.

If you want to create a US eBay or PayPal you will need a US IP if you want the account to survive.
