linked via tracking number?

I have 3 stealth accounts in states far from where I really live. I also sell the same type of low risk inventory across the 3 accounts. The listing look completely different from each account, but the manufacturer description is pretty much the same.

I am planning on shipping from my local post office.

Can eBay link my accounts looking at the tracking number and figuring they are coming from the same post office?

I ship from over 100 ebay sellers accounts in a month at the same PO and never an issue. And they are from many different states.

If they looked into it closely sure they can look at the tracking etc but you would really have to do something wrong for them to dig that deep.

Cool thanks! I was getting myself worried.

In general, the number you are describing as the "tracking number" is just the code for the mailing office. That code of itself should not link you since mail from that center will get sent out everyday...

Do not enter identical tracking numbers (the number of the item sent to your clients) in eB however just for safety reasons

Rsot: is your recommendation then to never add tracking number in ebay transaction?

I should just email the tracking number to customer and not via ebay?

Thx
J.

Tracking numbers should always be REAL ;)

Tracking number should be added where needed to ebay or paypal.

That is YOUR means of letting both know item is in transit/shipped or on way to be delivered.

It shows either of them you are being professional as a seller, imo.

:peace:
