What is considered a good "browsing history"
 

Can anybody suggest what would be considered a good "browsing history".
I have a few stealth running and do a bit of browsing, adding to watch lists, daft bids etc.
Can`t buy anyhting until I sell something to put some funds in account so when is it considered safe to sell. After hours days weeks of browsing?

Search for some innocent products like books on flower pressing, embroidery, and how to be a good parent.

I recommend to first go to eBay and randomly search for products PRIOR to logging in with your credentials. This makes it look like you're a new person that is just browsing.

You can then log in and bid on some items that you know you will not win.

There is no proof that this works, but I've been stealthing a while and it seems to work for me. One thing is certain, it does create some browsing history in your cookies which ebay likes.

When I first started making accounts I was in a panic so I was just cranking them out and listing right away and always getting listing removed and I'd have to call in or the account would be suspended within 48 hrs.

I got them all reinstated and now they are all aging and limits raising and Paypal holds lifting but it did take alot of time and work and I think it was because I didnt browse first buy few items, etc..

But besides browsing I know find that making your Paypal account with a good real bank goes a long way. Yes prepaid works but if u have a verified confirmed Paypal account with a good bank and just browse a few days and than list something like a book or another low risk item , you will end up not getting MC999 and I find limit raises are alot easier.

Create accounts with patience and care and list smartly are important, there is no set time for browsing or anything just patience

I tend to look at cars, some phones, tv's ect and I always bid and browse for 30 days give or take before making the account a sellers account.

For the first 30 days, my account is just 'buyer's account. Simple bidding, buying, and winning some cheap items to build up feedback.

After 30 days, I start to sell my first couple of items. I sell items that have high chance of getting positive feedback and low chance of returns.
After 60 days, I slowly increase - always varying the products.
After 90 days, once the limits are increased, I start to sell more - always staying under ebay's limit.

These are all efforts to stay un-noticed and under the radar...or stealth-like.

I have found that buying history doesn't matter. I age an account for a month, with some browsing in that time. I then sell some cheap stuff, get feedback for two transactions at least then its instant payments after that.

I like to browse the adult section for about two hours, then hit up the children's toys section for the rest of the night.




Seriously, I don't think browsing matters. I always watch a few items and buy a few cheap things, but I don't spend too much time on it.

Well if this is the case i should be good. I had my ebay account for well over a year before ever attempting to sell. Then i didnt sell a whole lot for 6 months. Even now nothing i sell is over $200.

So wrong on sooooo many levels :heh:
