Street address has too many characters

The street address is 46 characters that I'm supposed to ship to, but the line for the address will only let you put in 40 characters. Ebay won't let me print the label until I edit it. As it is, the address takes up two lines.

I can't edit the dumb address. It is what it is. There aren't any characters that I can delete without messing it up.

Now what? sigh.

I had this same issue two days ago and I just took out some things I didn't think were necessary.

Just make sure the numbered address is their street and apt or street number, city state and zip.

In my situation they also had the full name of their apartment complex which I took out. Just leave what I noted above and it should be delivered and also show to post office maybe they can help.

My package I sent was also delivered

You can also google the address and allow it to provide you with the correct address. You'd be surprised how many people mess up their addresses in paypal.

Makes me wonder how some of them ever get back home after a day at work.

Thanks guys! They listed there "sub district" in the address line. I think I'm just going to omit it. I don't think it's needed since their street name is a variant of the district name.

Sometimes I understand where there could be some confusion from international buyers. However, i can't possibly understand how ebay doesn't prompt them to correct it. Instead they just leave us to make heads or tails of it.

I get this a lot especially when shipping to South and Central American Countries.

I always message the buyer first of all to make sure it is their address. Half the time they send me a variation from the one that is on PP/EB and it works.

I will also use google translator to translate my message and paste it on the message so it is in Spanish also.

Hopefully I have not offended anyone, haven't received any complaints.
