Will I be linked?
 

I have set up a new acct using the book. I bought and item on ebay. The seller said he took cc via the phone. So I called him and gave him my cc. This card was used on a suspended acct that I had. After he ran the payment I realized that he uses Paypal for his cc over the phone also. Seeing that I paid with this card will it link me to ny new acct?:mad:

make sure all the cookies are cleared and your ip address is different and you should be fine. Use a new bank account for PP.

The new acct was set up a month or so ago with all new info. I even use a VPN now. I won't be linked because of the cc number?

If the guy inputs your auction number with the payment, that'll link you. But if he doesn't then no it won't. It's just wait and see now.

Yes he looks like he did put the item number in. Could I call PP and say that someone bought an item with out my permission?

How long does it take to get linked???? I guess when would I know that I am in the clear???

If you call PP it will bring up a red flag even faster.

If I do get suspended could I then talk to them about it????

It sounds like you're linked then. Hopefully you won't get limited but it's looking like that might happen. There's nothing you can do about it either.

There's no way to get out of a linked account? Nothing has happened yet but it was only this morning.

No way to get out of it, either it happens and you become linked and suspended or it doesn't. You have a 50/50 shot now. It's just wait and see now.

My next question is I use Strong VPN. Can I use that with a new acct I might setup? I am only using the one acct right now with it.
