Possible Ebay Suspension problem
 

Hi all
i have an issue with my ebay account -
i purchased a seller account a few months ago from a guy who use to use it regularly - it has a massive selling allowance and works perfectly

my problem is that i stupidly changed the address on the account to one that was blocked and within 3 or 4 days PayPal limited my account and refuse to unblock it saying it is linked to another restricted PayPal account ( even though it was verified and i got the account holder to send in passport etc so it was unique ) the PayPal address was the same as the blocked account
they told me they got this information from ebay....

advice if i may - should i just abandon this ebay account or should i try and set up another paypal account in a different name and a different address?

any advice would be great

Yes sadly you have to abandon the ebay account.

Any limited paypal account that is linked to an ebay account is toast to.

I just hope you did not pay a lot for your ebay account :s

Hard lesson learnt :s

In future do not use a banned address, rather look into opening a P.O Box or virtual shipping address so that if you wish to receive purchases, you will not have the same problem.

Welcome to the forums - while sad to see, Bunneh is correct - you have been linked.

Best to let this account go and start transition to new UNLINKED accounts.

Sounds like the eBay account will sooner or later go down to me. You can try accepting other payment methods on it, Skrill for example, but do not link it to another PP. You may can another few weeks or another few months use out of the eBay this way

Learn from the mistake and move on
