Need some help with opening my 2 ebooks

Bought Amazon Ghost and ebay Stealth last year and want to open them to read again but found can't open since it claims not being able to access to internet which is weird. My internet is good and I disable all my firewall but still show the same message again and again. Anyone else has met the same problem? Any suggestion to solve it? Thanks a lot!
