Selling a iphone on ebay

Hi, my ebay stealth account is now 3 months old and has 10 selling feedback. I want to sell my old iphone on the account. I understand that it's a high risk item. Could someone kindly answer the questions below;

Because the iphone is used does it still count as a high risk item?

Would it be ok to sell the iphone on my ebay?

Thanks, Will

How long ago did you sell your first item on eBay?
How old is the PP attached to this eBay
Have you have any issues with the eBay account?

Too much of a risk.
That account is too new.
Id wait till around 30ish feedback to get into that kind of territory.
And be sure to do your due diligence and protect yourself.

The fact that it is an iPhone makes it high risk, whether used or new.

3 months old with 10 fdbk is not at all strong enough.

Try other ways to sell the phone

Wait until your Paypal 21 hold becomes lifted and you get an ebay raise , at this point is when your account has matured and reached a new level of credibility

Now there is no stage where u are untouchable but I think at the stage I described above your at a better position to sell high risk

Thanks for the replies! The ebay and paypal is 3 months old and have never had a problem.

Sorry to be a pain, I have a sporty exhaust that's worth £300 which I also would like to sell. Im guessing a exhaust is not a high risk item?

A lot of things, especially in dealing with media, electronics or car parts is too high risk on an account that young.

As a personal, general rule, I tend stick to the $10 to $50 transaction range for around 5 months with 30 + feedback, then can move into the heavier duty range items.

So yes...still high risk

What about iPhone Parts and PS3 parts? would this be considered "high risk"? I have an account that I can sell iPhones and PS3's on it with no problems but I was going to build stealth accounts and use them to list parts for these devices.

Quit listening to unfounded/unproven with hard facts gloom and doom. As long as you ship quickly and upload tracking and your items are exactly as described your going to be fine selling your I-phone, exhaust and ps3 parts. There's a lot of scary bedtime stories repeated over and over as gospel spread on here more than hard proven facts sadly.

And quit posting cr@p to get peoples hopes up.

It has been proven time and time again. Use the search function. Apple as a name is a HOT BED for problems on young accounts.

Even on a strong account, you run risks of getting shut down due to people like you with a nonchalant attitude about how it cannot happen to them.

Just because you had success, does not mean the OP will.

Im tired of people like you posting cr@p about "Oh but millions of other ebayers are doing it, so it must be ok!"

No, its NOT. And obviously there is a reason why the people here post about their experiences.

Quit posting your bad advice.

You know what the REALL scary story is?

Your posts to always run down the efforts made by users with as much time and long as you have had on ebay.

There's a subtle difference though.

I see users trying to help. I see you trying to sh*t on everyone with your dust of a boy cow posts.

Here's a hint.

Can it. Go play in another sand pit.
