Ebay Not Allowing Me To Send Messages
 

On one of my stealths everytime I attempt to send a message I type it up, fill in the code and click send, and everytime I get.

"This message cannot be sent at this time"

They gave me a promotion code for $25 off of anything $50 or over.

So I was trying to use it and just send the sellers of the items a message that I need it sent to the following address and not my stealth address. But, I get this message even if i am responding to messages about items I am selling.

Weird, has anyone else got this?

PS: I don't plan on calling ebay because it is a stealth and I do not need the account looked at manually

Some sellers block messages.

Go over how you set the account up. Double check you have every OK.

Compare this account to another that is working

See what might be different. Amend if needed

I was unable to reply to a message yesterday-same thing happening -not checked yet today. Can't contact seller on his other listings either -wonder if they have blocked me..

Yes, usually this means they have blocked you.

Able to send it today !! How strange !

Likely another eB glitch...quite odd

Well, I was unable to message someone the other day, because it sent me to the .DE site. IDK what the error message was but it was in german lol.

I was able to get around it using email replies. It seems they've improved that a bit, which is nice - you can reply to ebay messages via email, and they will appear in your sentbox on ebay, and they aren't getting cut off at like 200 characters like they were in the past.

But yeah I was able to use the messaging system again last night so yeah must have been a glitch.
