Ebay listing gone far down in search results

I sell an item that not too many sellers sell, my item is usually in the top 5 of search results (for the last 2 weeks). Now when I check, it's on the third page! And it's nothing to do with sales, two days ago it was right at the top, I check yesterday after good sales, and it's gone to the third page? Why?

The only people that know for sure is eBay

It will be down to your best match rankings

This is effected by lots of factors, price, postage, DSR, ect ect.

The competition may have changed some of their settings to get a higher ranking.

Also bare in mind that just because its on the 3rd page for you does not mean its on the 3rd page for everyone.

Any issues, any dramas with the account?

No, Nothing at all. In fact just had the limits raised from 300/£6,500 to 900/£63,000. It seems really strange, Every time I've checked it over two weeks, it's been right up top. And I sell a lot more than others with the same item.

Also, when I check it whilst not logged in, ip changed etc, it still shows way way down.

Sorry, Title was supposed to be ''Listing'' not listings. And even when I search whilst not on the account, it's not there

Then JamesN' gave a hint.

Your account may be a victim to Cassini weirdness.

Always check on the status of your competition - they do adapt and can be painful

I'm constantly checking where my items stand in the search results and where competitors listings stand. But for my listing to drop 3 pages, from being at the top is very strange. There has been no other changes I can see. I know all the competitors prices etc. Had a really good day for sales and it just disappeared? It's a 30 day listing, might just end it and relist. Or open an ebay shop. Thanks for the replies.
