Ebay and paypal buyer accounts
 

Hi all,
If I opened ebay and paypal accounts just for purchases could I use my real info even if I could be linked?

If the 'real info' is banned, then this is a risk even for purchases

Agree with GB - best to go stealth as well - plus (bonus) later on....if you have no links 100%....you can get back to selling :thumb:

May also be very unpleasantly surprised.

If it shares lots of info with a banned account, eventually it will go down regardless of if its just a buyers account or not.

Not the best recommendation.

OP, I am currently doing this and it enables me to get my supplies & personal items. What do I have to loose if everything is stealth and I don't make a mistake and get linked? Which could happen in any event.

No need to use real info unless you have to have items shipped to your real home address etc.

Otherwise use a mom and pop mailing center or UPS box to get items sent in.

If that is linked to a banned account, then that is enough to cause a very strong link and may get the account banned.

May be worth looking at mail forwarding, or a mailbox.

Please tell me what that makes your real address previously used on a suspended account?

The idea of post office box is a good idea OP - consider it well

Silly question... Was your original account totally banned or just restricted from selling? There is a difference you know.

My original account with my real info was banned from paypal but not Ebay. Now if I want to buy something on Ebay, I will use my real account but I can't pay with paypal, I have to use my CC. However, paying with CC does not give me the protection I need.

How can I attach a stealth paypal to my real Ebay without that PP being limited?

Wisely and sensibly you DO NOT.

That is the whole issue of putting another paypal near an ebay account if there is an already limited paypal.
