30 days Handling time.
 

Hi, i have sold an item with 30 days handling time.

my money on paypal have been freezed for 21days.

The question: what is better to do? to wait 21 days or to mark the item as shipped with buyer permission.

in this case my money would be unfreezed in 7 days? or in 30 ++ days?

in my experience once the item is delivered with tracking number the funds will be unfrozen 3 days after delivery, so you should ship as soon as possible

Ship fast with tracking number and get positive feedback is always a good recommendation. Just because you wrote 30 day handling time doesn't mean the buyer will necessarily be so patient...

My auction was for a item that i don't have yet, but will have in about a month, and i wrote this in my listing and put 30 days handling time.. i had 16 bids

selling things you don't have within reach of your own hands is never a good way to start things out.

The unit that i sell is rare and i ordered it about a year ago, and now i'm selling it for higher price for those who want it and i ship it directly from company that produces it to the guy who won the auction, and not this was the question, sorry

Ebay may not be the platform to sell such items, The best would be setting up a website. Anything that takes 30 days is just begging to be scrutinized by Ebay/PP.

Ah dropshipping...well be careful, do your best NOT to make this seem so apparent - eB/pp doesnt like this

I have to agree with the others. A 30 day dispatch time will not go down too well with either buyers or ebay.

30 days stated or not hes just gota start to get cranky going to eb/pp and it won't go well.

You need to be far more than careful.

Your flag is now changed to the correct country.

Do not change it back.

If this rare item is being listed on ebay USA, then you need to watch exactly what happens with getting delivery to happen AND to get your own funds.

Now how about a little more ACCURATE info to make sure you get help.

This sale may be hard to make happen.

If i mark item as shipped, will be my money unfrozen in 7 day as they wrote in paypal FAQ... or they will unfreeze money after 33+ days because of total handling time? OR maybe better to do nothing and wait 21 days? )) big thanks

If you mark item as shipped and buyer sees it, he/she will expect it to be arriving in XXX days (how ever long it states) - if it doesnt come, you are in BIG trouble with complaints.

Stop worrying about UNFREEZING the money and worry about keeping buyers happy + good feedback + excellent service.

What you are doing sounds a bit shady...

I always kept my buyers or sellers happy, i have asked him if he don't mind, and he's ok with that ;) I will wait for 21 days. Admin can delete this thread. Thanks.
