Default Ebay is lowering my selling limits?

Hello guys,
Funny story. I have many stealth accounts but I have desiced to start a real ebay account(not stealth) and already regreting!

I have selling limits of GBP 3300 or 50 items. But since I change my billing currency from GBP to US$ I can't list anything for more than $500 in .com site ... Before the change I have listed for $815..... When I open my www.ebay.com account it says that my limits are GBP 3300 or 50 items when I try to list an items it says : "You've reached your selling limits on the US eBay site. On the US eBay site you can sell up to 10 items or up to $500 per month, whichever comes first. Althoud you've reached your limits in the US, you may still be eligible to list items domesically. "

1) This is not true. On 1.08.2013 I have listed items for $815-6 and I have much more space left in www.ebay.com site .
2) When I open my www.ebay.com account it says that I have GBP 3300 limit...

Have fought 2 hours with customer support and they are just redirecting me.... Have anyone experienced similar problem?

You have international limits on your account.

When you sold $815, was just auctions or buy it nows?

That depends on where your account is registered.

I would avoid calling ebay altogether though. Let the limits naturally grow

@Hajdut, just a question - do you have Second Chance offers out there that are pending? That can also contribute to limits...

Hi rsot! Thanks for the question. No i do not. The only pending i have is waiting from a week for a best offer sale. The buyer should make the transaction on the 12th of september.

But I started uploading internationaly trough co.uk Only diffrence is that instead of free fixed price listings i pay $1.5 per listing to have it on the international website. Ebay is ripping me off again in a new way... but no surprise there :D The same time i am waiting customer support to answer my mails.

Wish me luck!)))

Hey guys! Ebay answered in less than 6 hours, i can`t believe it! :D

Thank you for writing to eBay about transferring your account to eBay US.

I am pleased to inform that you can transfer your account from UK to another country. Also, you will not loose your feedback score and User ID or any other account related activity by doing this. And for that you just need to change your site of registration. I can see that your account is registered on UK site. This is the reason why you are redirected to UK eBay site.

To transfer your registration site to other country's site please follow the steps below:

1. Update your address to the address of the country to which you are moving.
2. Contact us to change your site of registration

- Update your registration details by following these steps:

1. Click on "My eBay" located at the top of any eBay page. You may be asked to sign in.
2. Click on the "Addresses" link located under the "Account" heading.
3. Click the "change" link located to the right side of the registration address.
4. You may be asked again to sign in.
5. Select 'United Kingdom' from the drop down options below the section of 'Country' and after that edit your address here and than click on the 'Save Changes' button at the bottom of the page.
6. Click on 'submit' button at the bottom of the next page.

Similarly, you can edit the address for your primary postage address details by clicking on the 'Change' button on the right side of the 'primary postage address' details.

- Contact us:

Once you have updated your details, contact us by replying to this email or by copying this link into a new browser window:

http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/contact...ase/index.html

We regret for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding in this matter. If you require more information, please feel free to write back to us.

Kind Regards,

Carl King
eBay Customer Support

So... Why do they think that i need to change my primiry address? I explained to them quite at length my situation.

What should i do? Thank you in advance

LOL

You got a clueless and useless reply.

They do not understand what you are doing.

Beyond their ability to deal with to make things work for you.

Typical.
