Default Buyer or Competitor?

Recently had one buyer making offers on a product of mine well under what other buys are making offers for.

At first i ignored it, then after him making these offers for days, i messages him with my final offer price. He has not replied to my message, however shortly after he just decided to make another low offer.

I think hes trying his best to annoy me for some reason then i started thinking this could be a competitor. Not sure what his plan is though. What are these mysterious tactics he's pulling on me, if any?

Anybody experiences anything similar?

I would not worry about it. Chances are it is probably just someone trying to bargain with you. If you do not want to be bothered with offers, just set it up so they can only make so many offers. You can set it so that it will automatically deny offers that are too low, and only accept offers that are within your price that you will accept. After so many offers it will not allow them to make any more offers. Look on eBay on how to do this.

It's somebody trying to bargain with you. Some people this is just customary in many countries. I wouldn't worry about it. If he is annoying you then report him.

If you don't want to have to constantly refuse the offer, just set the best offer decline value to 20% bellow what you would accept at the lowest.

EX

If item is $10, and you will not sell it for less than $7.50, set the automatic best offer decline at $6.00.

Saves you having to deal with daft low ball offers, but means you still get the sensible offers than you can then try to bump up to your minimum acceptance price.

He might be hoping you will accidentally accept - don`t bother with these kind of people OP. Control your business - rejecting offers is part of the game. Play on

Yeah, some people hoping you wake up with a hangover and hit the accept button by mistake. It probably happens enough so they keep trying. Nothing for them to lose.

If he won't sell it for less than $7.50 is there any good reason that he wouldn't set the minimum at $7.49

Block him.
Waste of time and offers.

You can set the automatic decline offer higher up to block accidental acceptance of these offers let alone having to RESPOND to them...just implement a higher bar to avoid lowball offers
