Can your item be located in diff state where your EB acc is?

Can I have my account created in Washington and sell items located in NC or any other state? Will this cause a red flag or is doable?

Yes, its fine.
Many people do it. And many businesses ship from different locations other than where they are located.

Yes, this happens all the time.

Definitely doable - just make sure 1) customers get product 2) they dont have to wait super-long...reasonable shipping time delay depending on your niche market

Yes you can! I'm from Bs. As and I send my products from HK. But don't lie about the location of the item.

I heard that's a bad idea. dunno why, but I guess people or eBay won't like you lie to your customers about the item location.

I have seen US sellers relatively large one pull this off with small generic auto parts. They say item is located for instance in Austin, Texas. You purchase and get a week plus later. Not say it is wrong. But if you are going to do this always have Free Shipping to help protect DSRs. Make sure it is sent out immediately. And say somewhere in the description about the real time of delivery and have it highlighted so the buyer can see it easily.

It really does depend though. If you are selling high priced items with lots of competitors than can get items to buyers in a few days you are kidding yourself. If you are lower priced but buyers have to wait and they kinda know it they might not care. Have to take multiple factors into consideration. But I have seen it done before with large eBay sellers who get thousands of feedback every month.

If a buyer is expecting something from US and then sees that it is coming from HK or China...there are quite a few buyers who will be pissed off, thinking that the product is a knock-off or of lower quality
