Ebay Limits - what exactly is "confirm contact info"?
 

I noticed on stealth that if I try to raise limits on the webpage it wont' work because they can't "confirm" contact info.

What are they looking for exactly so I can see if I can open an account where they CAN verify info.

So if i open a ebay account, let's say in my grandmothers name, using her address, then I might get limits raised?

Better yet, why don't you let the account limits raise naturally?

I have 4 stealth accounts going for 3 months now. I only can sell 55 items. This is not enough at all for me ( I came from a 5000 $20,000 and a 3000 $12,250 account). But I am being patient with these four. I am letting those four be, letting them grow naturally, 100% stealth.

I have been tossing around idea of trying to see about opening new account with craft I've been making and trying to see what I can do to get higher limits from start....and track what that means for the account in the long run.

So this is why I wondered what exactly they are looking for when they say "can't confirm contact information".

So if not enough for you, create more than and build - Sandy D (for example) has 100s of accounts and rotates all the time - a wicked idea :thumb:

Ebay is looking for Real Information, this would mean either using someone's information such as family, friends and then having them answer the questions OR using someone else's information illegally and guessing on the answers.

We would all love to have our cake and eat it too but sometimes patience does pay off.

Greenbean, don't think so, as the ebay stealth guide clearly suggests using friends and families names and addresses for stealth accounts.

What do they ask when you try to link the account to another ebay account in order to raise limits?

Too high a percentage of users got that second account suspended.

Ebay saw that the seller was trying to get around the selling limits and penalised them.

Ebay does not like that now.
