Ebay holding funds in paypal for open cases

Ebay goes into my paypal account and holds funds for open cases...which screws up my Paypal account as I dropship.

Anyway around this?

I suppose the only way is to not have the two un-linked or to send payments to a different paypal account- which I have- but then the 21 day hold kicks in (did a search on how to get around that one and going to work on it). Ideas?

I primarily use Paypal- I don't want to get a merchant account because I sell sextoys which is considered HIGH RISK- and I don't want to pay $$$$$$ to apply and 25 a month for a dang merch account...they are too damned expensive right now...I don't know of any other alternatives....

If you dont have enough in paypal to cover open cases then you are doing something very wrong.

Your current customers deserve a good product and if you are getting that many open cases you need to evaluate why.

You cannot clean out your paypal as you must have funds available for those cases.

They have the right to hold funds, part of the agreement when you signed up.

Those customers need to be taken care of before you use the funds for the next dropship order.

If it were me and I dropshipped I would not use the same paypal as I sold on.

I buy items from paypals myself that do not have an ebay attached at all.

No way around it other then stop getting the cases opened so much that funds are held.

Use one account for selling and one separate account for buying. PP doesnt like dropshipping - if you make it too obvious, you will get blown away

Working paypal should have a balance in it to cover refunds, fees.

In other words try not to have a zero balance.

ebay/paypal want to see 'security'.

Also make sure about your pattern of activity - if you only buy after sales are done...PP can see what's up and cause you problems (if you decide that you only want to use 1 account)

Limiting with no chance of appeal after documentation is sent in - hah nuisance and waste of time when they say that

Two accounts is smart...one for buying dropship items and one for accepting payments. I can run my credit line (BuyNow or whatever they call it) for paypal and fund the orders out of that. That should solve it. I think. I have one now but like I said they hold the funds for 21 days..the other they don't for some reason.
I just had one 200.00 order that was shipped UPS the customer claimed they didn't rec. and UPS has no record of it- it was picked up by UPS at my home (called in to be picked up rather) so the only thing I can think is someone swiped it...so I have to file a claim with UPS to get the funds back- but in the meantime ebay pulled 200 of my funds which I didn't have b/c I already filled orders. I had it 48 hours later, however- but it miffed me they did it anyway.

Hmmm sound like you doing to much. Drop ship adult products with ebay and paypal you asking for it.

With the dropshipping or with ebay or paypal? My store (online) runs off paypal with adult products (merch account) and I'm fine. So far (ebay knows what I sell and has for a while)- no prob with ebay either...

The only prob with adult prods are videos- which I don't sell. that seems to be a catch 22 with most for some...

1. Trust of the account.
2. That you have funds to back up your product.
3. If you have fund currently available if and when someone files a dispute.

They want to feel secure knowing that you can cover issues and not run into a negative balance.

First thing is not having so many issues with customers.
