Change from individual to busniess account on ebay. Good idea??
 

Forgive me if this is another repeated thread..

So i just recently realized that my stealth account type is individual. It's been running for more than 6 months..The thing is that i've got a lot wholesale stuff to list up on ebay and my current selling limits are 30items-$1000. These selling limits usually go over $1800 every month instead.

I wonder if i switch my account to business is a good idea and will it increase my selling limits??

May not necessarily increase the limits - if you get hit with limitation (not saying you will but IF), then you will likely need more documentation.

Wait for other people to post more info before making the decision

Making it a business will not give you any advantage as far as limits go.

It does however make you appear more professional and business like.

All my ebay accounts have business pps attached with names etc.

ebay will decide when to increase your limits.

Making a switch is not a guarantee they will increase either.

Your paypal, however, could be premier or business.

I do 'business' accounts to appear more professional.

Spread sales over more stealth accounts as you begin to transition to business account - helps to have backups OP

Same here.

Gives a solid trust factor to a buyer when they see a business name.

Building multiple accounts for the long haul with or without business names is what you need to do.

It does not guarantee any limit increases.

Your DSRs need to be close to perfect to get nice limit raises

And I like using business paypal as well, it does give a more professional look and so far no limitations on my business paypals

As far as increasing limits keep selling to the limits and get ur DSRs up because u are at 6 months if all is running well some nice increases should be comming

i am having the same question, too. i am running account with my real name, not stealth at all.i have high selling limit but i wants to change my account to be a business account so it appears more professional. do you guys recommend me changing it? will ebay review or flag your account? do you really need to file a company or cooperation or LLC in order to upgrade to business account in ebay and paypal?
