My Paypal account is limited, and will be that way forever. My ebay account however is accessible. I get the warning about Paypal when I log in. I guess the ebay and Paypal accounts were linked... I haven't had any problems with ebay at all, just that Paypal limited my account and wants a SS#. Is there any chance I can still use the ebay account. I haven't had any listings removed, and all positive feedback, plus fees are paid. I would just like to use my ebay account with a merchant account and forget about Paypal.

you can't do that way, trust me. I believe your ebay account will be limited or suspended in a short time of period, as they are closely linked together. Maybe have a fresh start, I am thinking it now as I have an opposite story as yours, paypal works perfectly, but eBay account is frozen, sigh.
