If you were new to EBay.....

....would you immediately go down the stealth route?

It's an interesting question.

There are some sellers who believe building a successful legit business is the way to go through using one account with real details that you can continually build on.

Or is this now far too risky?

I am guessing the number of stealth accounts on the site is rapidly increasing due to their ridiculous policies.

Spread the risk, or concentrate on one account building up a dedicated client base?

Having 1 account is risky in itself, whether it is non-stealth or stealth. That is simply putting too many eggs in one basket. That's 100% of your business!

What happens when you wake up one morning and this 1 account is no longer available to use due to some MCXXX violation?

Now, if you had 10 accounts and one get suspended, you have 9 others to fall back on.

Always choose the option to spread the risk.

Re: If you were new to EBay.....

When I had my original account going money was flowing in nice , I was so naive than callin ebay for whatever never thinking they can shut u down.

And about 6 weeks into selling. Boom MC999 it was the worst powerless felling again, luckily I found this site and was back up in 2 weeks but it took few months to get back to getting instant payments and it was a struggle .

Now ill never stop making accounts the more u have the stronger u are and when you are only making $800 a month an a Paypal u r under the radar, so much better to have 100 accounts than one big one, I ended up getting some EIN. Numbers and do have big accounts but my plan is to keep all accounts running low , they will survive long term the big accounts I know are short term,

I concentrate on a few core accounts, but constantly build up other 'secondary' accounts at the same time.

If a core account were to go down (touch wood this never happens) I can spread what it was selling across to other core accounts and secondary accounts and switch a well built up secondary account into a core account.
