Ring Ebay for Business account?
 

I have a ebay business account 3 months old, when u go to lift selling limits, it says contact us to discuss your business needs and how we can help u etc?? has anybody done this? what happens when u ring them? do they increase the selling allowance? Thanks

Have you not read the horrible things that happen when users call up to get limits raised?

UK users have been asked outright to supply their business info & ID. Their 'help' is finding out your business plan, your expectations.

Then they decline to lift them.

What are your limits at present?

Are you selling on a fully verified and confirmed paypal?

This is something to be wary of doing with the holidays coming.

If you sell to your limits, ship items fast etc.. your limits will start to increase

With stealth you need to be patient

Never ring ebay if it can be avoided.

Sell to your limits and you will get an increase.

its a genuine account not stealth, they have the ID for it, linked to a verified premier paypal with paypal limits all lifted. selling for more than 90 days, got feedback score of 32, 100% positive will 32 DSR ratings all 5 star. still limits are same, 15 items/£1,000. when click high selling allowances, says ring to discuss your business needs etc

I'd still take all the advice above.

But if you still decide to call just make sure you've been selling 100% legit items and have legit suppliers with proper invoices - no Chinese specials.

Dont call to lift limits - it's risky - sell to max (as stated by people above). Need more selling limits? Create more stealth accounts.

I would not risk a call in.

We are trying to tell you what ebay does.

We are trying to prevent the next thread of I called in and got suspended.

If the limit is based on a 1 month quota then YES. If the category is RESTRICTED (which I am not getting this sense here), then limits can only be lifted with the contact call...which is a crapshoot
