Got a neutral feedback with a good comment

He decided to leave me with a neutral and good feedback, sent him a message .. really dont think im going to be getting a response from him so he must have been playing games.

Would you escalate this for a feedback revision, or leave it as it is?

To be honest I would leave that as it is.

I agree with Jamesnorth101

Why risk sending a feedback revision and them changing it to a negative.

Cannot change a neutral to a negative.

Feedback can only ever be improved when feedback request is sent

Revision requests are scarce and should only be used when you are 100% sure of the desired response. I only ever use them for negs as well.

If the buyer is ignoring messages, they'll ignore a feedback request. Don't waste them.

As a buyer, when I look at feedback & if I see something like that, it doesn't dissuade me from making a purchase from the seller. The neutral feedback could have just been the mood of the person at the time.

Besides, you have a limited amount of feedback revision requests. I'm not sure if you have the same number as here in the US as in the UK. Over here, ours is 5 requests per 1000 transactions on a base account w/ TRS & Powersellers getting more.

In short, not really worth wasting one of your feedback requests for this.

Its the same in the UK as well

5 in 1000 - Use them wisely.

You already contacted him OP and he has not responded - leave it be - improve the % with more positives - move forward.

He could change it to negative if you catch him at a bad time

I agree if he left a good comment any customer that really is concerned about feedback will just read it and think that the buyer just made a mistake it's not a negative so won't affect ur score either.

Save the revision requests for a negative, don't waste it on a positive comment , this happens often and I think it's just the buyer hitting it by accident

Even a negative with a good rating. As much as it sucks. Most of the time it isn't something I would lose sleep about. I would just reply with a ????

Not worth wating your revison request over. Save those for any negative left.

Agreed. There was one year like 09 where dummy's at eBay thought if you got a neutral it should affect your feedback percentage. Thankfully they got rid of that.

If someone leaves me a neutral or negative even with a positive comment. I would just leave a reply with ???. For a negative I would try to contact them to get it revised if possible. For a neutral, really if they aren't talking trash, then who cares. Some people you can never please. That is life.

@vogeltron, neutral is still considered negative feedback in terms of metrics....
