Can eBay track your saved searches?
 

Is eBay able to see your saved searches like your saved sellers or saved items you are watching? Say for instance I want to watch a same sellers account I have been watching on a different or bad eBay account can they see that?
I am worried to add a saved search I had on my bad eBay account.

They can see anything you do on ebay, its hard to say whether or not they are looking at that. I would say that they probably arent going to look at that level of detail at accounts.

Definitely they can track searches - but why worried if you are playing with a bad account? Operate LINKFREE - make sure you dont tied in your good accounts - I do searches all the time...havent had problems.

Checking out a same seller all the time is not a `flaggable`move in and of itself but explain your worried about...?

Okay well my mother in law is afraid to watch my items on eBay because she can thinks they will know we are somehow linked to my previous bad account.

and I was trying to monitor my items on my second stealth account that is in good standings.

and also if I wanted to check on my bad account not saying there is a reason to but just in case I was to?

That is why I asked if searches are viewable on eBay's end.

If it is within eBay's system, then of course eBay can see it.

Will they care to look at what you're searching on and compare to other accounts...probably not. There are far other methods they have at their disposal to do that.

But why take that chance?

Yes they sure can. I dont think they watch it like a hawk but if it came down to really needing to dig they can find and compare your searches if needed.

Why not just do the search after ur logged out of the account,

If you don't login, you can do almost anything you want without being watched.

Make sure you create good habits to not link accounts.

I personally use a separate user account for searches - not because I am worried about search link but just to employ stealth all around

They do keep searches log, but if you keep your accounts separate according to the stealth guide and not log in, everything will be specific to that account you used to search for that item you did.
