Tips on getting the best selling limits?

I had eBay lift my limits for 10 to 25 a month without running a public record.
They said I can call back within a month and they will review my account.
What is the best advice you can give about getting the higher limits do you have to call every month or do they automatically lift you limits when they see your being established?
I want to make some other stealth accounts but my husband thinks I should stick to my LLC one and concentrate on it because he seems to think I will get my accounts mixed up and plus a hassle to keep changing IP address etc each time I want to log into my other account.

My advise is: Don't call eBay!!

Everytime you call them your asking them to look into your account, why take the risk?

Just sell quality products, ship items fast, respond to messages and sell to your full limits each month. In time your limits will increase automatically

Ok thanks how long does it take for eBay to automatically increase your limits?

Re: Tips on getting the best selling limits?

limit increases depend on the account, no two account are the same so it will depend on several factors.

Be patient, sell up to your limits, ship fast. The more positive feedback you get the better chances you will have in having your limits raised automatically.

Keep making stealths and keep following the stealth way.

Is it good to max your limits every month ? Should I max out my 25?

I agree with your husband.

Run that LLC account smoothly and correctly for say 2 months.

Learn the tricks of stealth.

first trick is to avoid calling ebay.

Wait a couple of months before maxing out your limits, you may well get an increase within that time period without maxing out the selling limits. If you dont get one within 3 months, then aim to max it every month.

Maitain good selling practices and customer service.

Earn the right to have higher limits.

Avoid repeating any of the issues from old suspended accounts.

Do not take on more than you can handle.

DON'T CALL!! Lost a great EB account that still has a working PP with debit card. What a shame I didn't know any better.

Ok I am not going to call ebay anymore unless I have to then I will ask you guys for help.
Do you think I need to be worried since I called yesterday? Or if I play the stealth rules my account should be ok?
I currently have 12 items listed for sale trying to move them that way I can get my feet wet and get some feedback coming in. Just really sucks that PayPal holds your money for awhile till they verify delivery how long is this limit usually on your account for?
Thanks again everyone I would be so lost without this forum and great knowledgable people.

You should be ok as long as you don't call them again.

Most say 3 months, some say 10 Positive feedbacks but usually it's 90 days starting from your 1st sale.[/QUOTE]
Just make sure you ship fast, doesn't feel good to wait but you have to get use to it, as long as your running multiple accounts you won't really feel it.

It's going to suck because I am going to just focus on my one LLC account I think it will get to confusing if I open multiple accounts etc.
so waiting 25 a month will suck. Until they increase my limits. :(

Have multiples up and running so after 90 days if you do well and keep your DSRS high etc they will increase.

Building accounts for the future should be your plan while making money now.

When you say building accounts up today, do you mean letting the other ones age or using them as well?

Lol, you never know. I got an account with 35+ selling feedback. 40+ buying feeds. 4.9-5.0 DSRs across the board. Been near 7 months since my first sale and still stuck at the dreaded 10/$1000. Getting frustrating. You never know how eBay works. I have had others I sell get 10-15 selling feedback and after the 90 days like you said get the bump at-least in items I can list if not $$ amount too.

This is exactly to the point as well. As to why a serious seller on eBay should always be working on new accounts. Even if you got great unlimited "legit" accounts. The way eBay works you always need to be prepared with something to fall back on. Even if it is just to maintain.

Do not confuse the word age with letting it sit idle. That is not aging anything or growing an account.

Aging means using the account in some manner w the intentions of growing it. Higher limigts, morfe trust. Time behind you are all fators if you want to grow an account for the future.

That is why I rotate many accounts every week so I can use them and grow them over time.

Has created tons of accounts for me with no limis of any kind on them.

That is why I do what I do. Lots or work and organization but it pays off.

Re: Tips on getting the best selling limits?

I agree, it's tough in the beginning but after 5 months all the steps to run the accounts becomes natural and easy

And if u have 20 accounts running I find between 3-5 months paypal holds lifted and limit increases on ebay and that's when all the waiting and struggle pay off big time

And than keep building accounts and they will grow, and keep going, but they need to be active .

As long as you sell one item every month to keep the account active , u will still get increases, just rotate and build

What you are doing is ROTATING sales per account - different days, different weeks, change up patterns.

So confusing lol I want to have a couple of different accounts but I feel confused on how to keep tack of them and to have to worry about what address to put on it etc.
rite now I have the eBay and PayPal app on my phone so it's easy to keep track of my sales when stuff sales etc.
I feel like if I have to many accounts how will I know when something sells etc?

Re: Tips on getting the best selling limits?

You will know when you log into your accounts (Or easier: just the e-mail!) and see notification of item sold.

You have to keep good tracking - it's business - use books, word pad, excel, whatever....takes PRACTICE

Re: Tips on getting the best selling limits?

If u have an iPone or android they can make a great tool for organizing all accounts making phone numbers receiving emails, bank account log ins , apps for IP checking and logging

There are so many apps that make having multiple accounts very organized that's the key to managing everything for me at least
