Opening up multiple ebay accounts under one ebay user
 

Is there a benefit to doing this?

I was browsing sellers with little or no feedback that were listing TONS of stuff. Way over the 10/month limit i'm accustomed to with my new stealth accounts.

I was like WTF when I saw this, but then I read somewhere about power sellers or top rated sellers who open up more than one ebay account under one user, and the new accounts opened under this top rated seller get higher limit increases or something like that.

I'm not sure if I am recalling what I read correctly, and I can't freakin find where I read it anywhere! Anyway, I wanted to know the details regarding this method, and if anyone has experience opening up multiple ebay accounts under one user.

Obviously the risk is that if you lose one account, you can pretty much bet you will lose all accounts; but I have an account that is opened under a corporation name, and my EIN has already been submitted to PayPal for this account. It is the one account that is top-rated seller, and it is one of the few where all ebay/paypal info is registered to an address I actually have access to. It is also the account I have with the most feedback. Things are actually 100% legit with this account.

Would it be wise to open multiple ebay accounts under this user? Would these new ebay accounts have higher selling limits?

I was just thinking the same thing I have same situation as you but I'm not rushing to do this don't want to lose the account , I know it's tricky you are technically allowed but if it's to bypass limits than u will get suspended

So I think u can however u need to be listing other items , my powerseller account sold the 100 items by oct 10, but if I create another to sell the same I'm trying to by pass limits and u can get suspended

I think it's something too risky unless ones for buying only the other for selling

Yes there is a chance of having same limits BUT also there are chances of:

a) everything being suspended for risk issue
b) limits being SPLIT amongst accounts
c) limits being reduced
