Can Ebay See My Bank Account Information On A Invoice To My Bank?

Ok I just sold an item on ebay. I still have the dumb 21 day paypal hold. My funds finaly got free where I could pay my ebay fees. However ebay sent a echeck to my bank account the day before!

I called ebay and asked if they could cancel the echeck and I would pay with my paypal balance (its not linked). Ebay said they are not able to cancel echecks that are sent to my bank.

My bank account has $3.00 in the account.

So I dont know what to do........?

Deposit the amount of money I owe ebay into the account? If I do this can ebay get my bank account information once the echeck has been paid?

Not deposit anything in my bank account and hopefully the echeck will get canceled and hopefully I wont get a overdraft fee from my bank!

and then just pay the ebay fees with my paypal account afterwards.

If I dont pay the invoice can ebay see my real bank account information or
If I do pay the invoice can ebay than see the real name registered on my bank account after payment?

Its says in the Stealth Book ebay cannot verify the name with the bank account unless the bank itself was to pass that information on,
which they almost never do. And yes PayPal will ask for the name on bank account but again they don‘t check and cant verify this.

But it dosent say anything about ebay able to see a name on the bank account after you complete a payment on a echeck they send so can they?

Majority of echecks go thro' fine.

echecks can rarely be cancelled.

So would you put the money in the bank and take the risk to see if ebay will find my real registered information on my bank account?

or would you not put the money in the bank and take the risk of getting a overdraft fee from my bank and then pay the fees with the paypal balance?

The name on the account wont be seen, however your bank may send back the funds you deposit because of a non-match between paypal information and the bank info

@secret storm, Greenie is right on so what you must do now is put money in that bank account STAT. You don't want to be hit with a NSF echeck....bank will charge you fees and pp could be in trouble.

OP seems to be talking about uploading of funds from bank to pp and not withdrawing to bank
