Advice needed please,

hi all, Advice needed please,
I sold a second-hand garden petrol multitool ( the 4 in 1 type ) all in working order around 6 weeks ago
I said in the listing no returns and bought as seen - please be aware of this before you bid. as im aware its used and has no manufactures guarantee left etc. etc. anyway the purchaser has just contacted me saying that part of it has broke (and has been broke) since he purchased it 6 weeks ago and he would like a full refund, I have pointed out my terms and conditions in the listing and asked him why he has left it 6 weeks? He has ignored my questions and said: Either refund me or we'll let ebay resolve it (also this item is worth 50% less now as we have hit the winter months )

Any help please on what to do next Or should I just roll over and give in ? total price is £160
thanks in advance

Re: Advice needed please,

for 160 pounds, I would just eat the loss and let the moron return it for the refund.
They were clearly going to scam from the start.

If you want, fight him and let ebay decide. But honestly, why bring attention to yourself when you can make more profit from others who will not mess you over?

If they have already left positive feedback, let them eat the shipping cost to return it. Although at this point, I think they are trying to hold you by the nads anyway and still might leave a negative.

Dont forget to block

Not worth the possible issues with a buyer like this.

Refund and move on.

Agree with other memebers. Just not worth bringing the attention to your account

Refund, block, move on

Sad to hear OP - sounds like he used you like a free 'shop-return' - terrible to hear but the other posters are right in just refunding and moving on.

Welcome to the forums
