Paypal says I am a "questionable" seller
 

So I opened up a new pp acct and sold an item to this guy for $200. He emails me and says he can't send payment because pp won't let him. He then emails me to say he contacted pp and they told him I was a "questionable" seller. I told him to forward that email to me because I have never heard of pp doing this. Anyone else ever heard of this?

I'm also questioning why your first item after opening up a new PP account is a $200 item?

That alone raises alot of flags.

He probably twisted the words or something to scare you.

When these buyers see a new seller they abuse it if they can get away with it.

Not a good move to sell a 200.00 item as your first item.

$200 on a brand new PP is too much too fast. Need to age the account more

Agreed, if you have no PayPal history that is considered high risk. Just as eBay accounts with no history are considered high risk.

@mari...and what is the status of your PP - limited or still new and able to receive payments?

Mari said that the "guy" told him/her that PP told "the guy" that mari is questionable - hah the whole thing is sketch. Until e-mail is posted up...sounds b.s. (on the part of "the guy")

I doubt that they would have done that, if they had suspicions they would have likely limitted your account and asked for proof by then. Beyond that, if it's an ebay transaction, the 21 day hold would serve that purpose.
