Smile Ebay account limit adding S.S

Does adding social security get you a higher selling limit for a brand new Ebay account? Is there any possible way to make accounts with higher selling limits. I know there's a seller on here who sells new 100 limit accounts but I wonder how he gets it like that.

It takes time to get higher limits, but adding a SS# does get u higher limits more quickly, but not not instantly.
If u have a SS# and all info is real and up to date phone number , name and address so that it all can be verified through public database than they are much more likely to give u that 100/5000 in few weeks, because it's a trust issue and once they have that info they know they can go after you and ruin ur credit and sell ur debt and get their money.

But if you go stealth than it usually takes selling well for that probation period of 90 days, and than u will get the limits raised , but when u create a lot of accounts u will see variations there's no set thing to do to get increases or times . Sometimes u get big raises after 45 days , sometimes 180days but for US accounts the normal time is after the 90 day period when they know your customers are leaving all positives hopefully no cases and all DSRs are high

Having high DSRs and no cases is the most important factor

Also if ur using your social don't waste it meaning make sure the products you are selling are all legit and you have all the proper paper work showing you are an authorized seller if it's a copyrighted product , and if needed you can show this documentation and invoices to ebay along with ID

If you are new on the sites they could care less about SSN or Tax ID. They want you to prove to them that you are a trusted seller. If you can do that then your limits will be increased. As important as the info you are talking about is. Just giving it to them without establishing yourself or them asking for it due to requirements is moronic in my opinion.

Yes it's about trust and if you do supply a SS# and all info that they can verify 100% they will raise limits quickly since you can't run if your a bad seller and owe money they now have all your info and verified so they can get the money that you owe

If they have no tax I'd and verified info than that trust is based off of your sales history only. And will take as long as they feel is enough history to prove you are credible.

I'm not saying that it's the best idea , you should never give out your personal information

If I had known about stealth before hand I would of known how ebay worked and would of never gave all the info but the way it's set up most people think u need to add your SS# right away to sell

So on my original account I was increased to 100/5000 in a couple weeks and my holds were lifted in a couple weeks , right away they didn't give the hold on every sale, by 6 weeks I had papal holds totally lifted and 100/5000 after 2 -3 weeks

So giving them everything is not recommended but it does help cut down establishing trust soley by means if selling history
