limit increase predicter!!
 

Just an idea but Think we should use this thread and put on it when are accounts get limit increases, obviously all accounts will get different raises at different times as there all different in many different ways, but it would give any newbies making stealth accounts an idea of what it takes and when there next limit raise could be,

something like this:

Date account was created xxxxxx

Date of first item listed xxxxxxx

Date of first item sold xxxxxxx

Date of first positive feedback xxxxxxx

Total positive/negative/ % feedback on day of increase xxxxx

Date of increase xxxxxxx

DSR rating xxxxxx

Selling limits from xxxx to xxxx on day of increase

This would be like a survey for a lot of people to see and get a rough idea about when there next increase could be, and even though it might not be correct, it will save a lot of the same questions being asked and could motivate sellers to keep going for that next limit increase,

Just an idea give it a go and see if it helps anyone :)

If eBay got hold of this sort of info it would be very easy to ID the stealth account so posting it on a public forum may not be the best idea.

There is no set patten to limit increases. All down to the eBay wizards.

Agree with James, putting too much info out there is not a good idea. No two accounts are the same, virtually impossible to compare 2 accounts and predict an increase.

I agree, maybe if we just put are feedback and DSR and new selling limits there's no way they can track us then

Yes I've already mentioned it that no 2 accounts are the same, but would be good for newbies to see what limit increases people are getting, will keep them going in the hard times like myself at the moment having 10 stealths all 2 month old with 25 selling limit still in place, it can be pretty boring, and seeing people like on another thread someone with a 2 and a half month old account with 6 feedback getting an increase to 100 items a month keeps me going to be honest thinking I'm not that far away for an increase myself then.

Just nice to see how people are getting on, but I agree with James don't put too much info

Got an account created well over a year ago. 40 buying feedback. 43 selling feedback. 5.0 DSRs across the board. Still stuck at the 10 item / $1000 limits. Nobody knows how eBay calculates this stuff. Some people get selling increases after 3 or 4 sales.

Yes this is un predictiable , so dont even waste time thinking of it, you need a raise create more accounts, i had accounts where i sold one item and no feedback and received an email giving me a raise from 10 to 100 items and 1000/$10000 so , many factors play a role in this , control only what you can, sell great keep an eye on your DSRs and pray that your number gets pulled.

alot has to do with how they are doing meaning eBay , if their numbers are down you will see a wave of limit increases, so they are always planning, its a numbers game
