Confused. PLEASE help. MC999, Multiple Ebay accounts and Bank Accounts in your name
 

First of all, thank you to all of the VIP (and others) members for being so helpful. I've been combing through threads for hours now and am still confused. So this new MC999 that I got on multiple accounts that i had aging with verified paypal accounts, none of them have I started selling yet, is making me realize that I will have to open more ebay accounts that I thought (about 3 of 4 are getting the MC999 notice). My question is this. It seems risky to keep opening and closing so many new bank accounts in my name. Is there a way for me to open paypal/ebay accounts with just the visa vanilla verification and no bank account number until I sell enough where I think it is safe to turn it into a long term ebay account? Does not having paypal connected to a bank account a verified prevent you from selling and/or make you a candidate for being suspended/restricted?

There was no activity other than browsing. The accounts were just opened. The message says that after reviewing my account my selling privelages have been restricted until I verify some information and then I am asked to go about it by requesting higher selling limits. ALl the information I have in profile comes up, I am asked to check mark a box if correct and when I fo I am told they were unable to verify.

You could use a VBA for the PayPal bank account verification. You cannot withdraw funds to a VBA, but they do work for verification purposes. So, you could go ahead and sell, then add a real bank account when you want to start withdrawing funds.

Some sellers here have them in the "for sale" area.

I've been reading about them all over but no definition anywhere. What is a VBA?? Is it something I can do or need to buy only?

VBA: Virtual Bank Account, as Jeff mentioned....You can't withdraw funds to a VBA but it will work great for verification purposes. You can buy a VBA from any of the verified sellers on the Marketplace:
