What is the system that ebay uses to generate the questions they ask when verifying ID? Is it something we could access?

Anyone can get an LLC, I've got one. How does that give us access to phone verification?

Still need to pay money for services that will get that info...mailing lists, call codes, marketing tools, etc....like those marketing houses

U dont need to be a large corporation to access that database. Lol. U can be a single ole ebay seller. You just need to know on how to go about it

it's not common sense...some of the questions they ask are personal stuff that only the person would know or someone close to them. How would any public database know this stuff? For instance, did the person go to college? That's not something that is in a public database, like an old address.

At what point do we get asked questions from eBay to verify ID? Do your mean on paypal when we click to confirm information to lift all selling limits and become fully verified?

I have a stealth that is 9 months old and I just got the mc999 to call in and get asked the database questions. No reason that I can think of. I haven't done anything differently on this account lately.

Ya, there's lots of public database websites. For a reasonable monthly fee you can have access to that info.

Might be worth it for some who create a lot of accounts. For me, I would prefer to stay away from it because now you're entering id theft territory, which is a whole new can of worms.

Easier to take your chances with "none of the above" or just abandon the account. There's one other fix to this as well, but everyone has to discover it on their own, I won't be giving it away, so please no pm's(sorry for the tease, but some motivation to those who are willing to experiment, I've seem to found one solution, but it's not a particularly strong solution)

This is something that happens a lot more for US accounts.
